I began my career in the photographic industry during the 80's. My first love was the restoration of old portraits. I lovingly repaired the precious memories by hand, before the introduction of computers to the industry.
I started to build a clientele of photographers who appreciated my retouching skills. I was commissioned by them to enhance their own photographic images. I realized then that I would have to transition myself to behind the camera.
I quickly discovered a new love, I embraced the images I was creating. I strove to evoke emotion both from my subjects and the admirers of my portraits.
I am fortunate to be in the business of creating life long memories. I live my passion. My unique portrait style is created with the magic of film, lighting and darkroom printing. I believe that portraits are a timeless art, preserving precious memories.
